Welcome to Algarve Cave Captain! By booking a tour or using our services, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before making a reservation.
1. General Information
Algarve Cave Captain offers guided boat tours along the Algarve coast, including visits to the Benagil Caves and nearby natural landmarks.
All services are subject to availability and weather conditions.
These Terms apply to all bookings made through our website, in person, by email or by phone.
2. Booking & Payment
Bookings can be made online or directly with our staff.
Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your place.
Accepted payment methods include credit/debit cards and online payment platforms (e.g. PayPal, Stripe).
You will receive a confirmation email after completing your booking.
3. Cancellations & Refund Policy
Customer cancellations:
Free cancellation up to 24 hours before the tour.
Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the tour are non-refundable.
Company cancellations (weather/safety):
Algarve Cave Captain reserves the right to cancel or reschedule tours due to sea conditions, weather alerts or technical issues.
In such cases, you may choose to reschedule your tour or receive a full refund.
4. Arrival & Check-in
Please arrive at the departure point at least 20 minutes before your scheduled tour.
Late arrivals may result in losing your booking without a refund.
5. Safety & Liability
All passengers must follow crew instructions at all times.
Life jackets will be provided and must be worn when required.
Algarve Cave Captain is not responsible for:
Loss or damage to personal belongings
Injuries caused by not following safety instructions
Seasickness or discomfort due to sea conditions
Passengers with health concerns, pregnancy or mobility limitations should contact us in advance.
6. Children & Minors
Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
Special rates may apply for children depending on the tour type.
7. Weather & Sea Conditions
Tours are subject to suitable sea and weather conditions.
The final decision to proceed with the tour lies with the captain for safety reasons.
We recommend flexibility with dates during your visit to the Algarve.
8. Personal Data & Privacy
Your personal data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
By booking a tour, you consent to the use of your information for tour-related communications.
9. Photography & Media
We may take photos or videos during the tours for promotional purposes.
If you do not wish to appear in our content, please inform the staff prior to departure.
10. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by Portuguese law. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the district where the company is registered.
